INDIVIDUAL PSYCHOTHERAPY FOR ADULTS

I provide psychodynamic psychotherapy for adults with anxiety, depression, grief issues, and for those going through major life transitions. This therapy focuses on integrating the healing and growth of the mind, body and spirit through compassionate talk therapy, dream work, guided imagery, awareness work, and Gestalt techniques. I love to work with individuals who are committed to the process of healing through self-discovery and those who desire to live an empowered, and a creatively/spiritually focused life.

Trauma Therapy

I also provide therapy for those who have had an emotional, physical, or sexual traumatic experience – either in their childhood or in present day life – and feel hindered by their memories. I use compassionate talk therapy, guided imagery and EMDR to facilitate the healing process.

Supervision for Social Workers and Counselors

As a Board approved supervisor, I provide clinical supervision for therapists, either as a step toward licensure, or as a means to enhancing existing clinical skills, or as a help to building a stronger private practice. Please also refer to the section on “Coaching”. (As an aside, the development of my own practice is described in Lynn Grodzky’s book, Building Your Ideal Private Practice.)

Office Location

My office is located at 4848 Battery Lane, Suite 202, which has easily accessed parking, and is handicapped accessible. The office is also a 10 minute walk from the Medical Center Metro.

I also offer Skype sessions for those who cannot get to the office.
